A portfolio site for the artist Denusgoo.
Drawings, videos and photography, all pulled straight from Denusgoo’s Tumblr. He posts and tags new work where he already shares it, and the site updates itself, no CMS to learn and no developer needed. On the homepage, a scroll-driven intro wipes away to reveal his name cut out over a different piece of his work on every visit.
How it’s built
- Tumblr as the CMS: tagged posts become the drawings, videos and photography pages automatically
- A Vercel serverless function talks to the Tumblr API, keeping the key private and caching results
- A scroll-driven GSAP intro, with his name as knockout type over randomly featured work
- Section titles that resize themselves to fill the width of any screen
- Tumblr content sanitized with DOMPurify before it's rendered on the page
