A GSAP playground built from nothing but type, shape and color.
An experiment in what I can make with GSAP alone: no images, no WebGL, just type, shape and color choreographed across one continuous scroll, ending in a poster you can pull apart and rearrange yourself.
How it’s built
- One fixed stage and one master timeline scrubbed by scroll, with each act overlapping the last
- Real physics in the motion: a circle that rotates exactly as far as it rolls, and boxes that tumble corner over corner
- Type stretched to fill any shape exactly, measured from the letters’ actual ink with canvas text metrics
- An interactive poster where tiles glide, push each other out of the way, recolor and rotate
- Keyboard controls, reduced-motion support, and a layout that holds steady as mobile toolbars collapse
