A demo site for Gemini Pizza, an imaginary pizza shop in Victoria.
One long page dressed as a 90s rave flyer, run by twin founders. Browse the menu as a lineup with a 3D pizza that rebuilds itself for each one, then build your own, whole or half and half, and watch the toppings drop in as the price ticks up.
How it’s built
- A single WebGL canvas behind the page, with 3D objects that follow their HTML layout as you scroll
- A procedural pizza: toppings are instanced shapes that scatter, drop in and split across each half
- Custom GLSL shaders for the marble planets, sauce, warped checkerboard floor and hypnotic rings
- Each section shifts the whole site’s color, in both the CSS and the 3D, as you scroll into it
- Adapts to slower devices, with keyboard support, reduced-motion support and a fallback without WebGL
