A single-screen music site for Curtis Charm.
Each of the 21 songs has its own shape and color, drawn from its tempo, energy and rhythm. Pick a track and the form folds into its new outline, then moves with the music as it plays.
How it’s built
- Each track analyzed in Python for tempo, energy, brightness and rhythm
- Shapes generated with the superformula and morphed between songs with GSAP
- Rendered in three.js, with a custom GLSL shader for the color inside each form
- Live Web Audio data ripples the linework as a song plays
- Adapts to slower devices, with keyboard controls and reduced-motion support
